Ms. Courtney Eddinger - Elementary Physical Education

I was born and raised in
Gorham, NY where I attended Marcus Whitman Central School. I was very fortunate to participate on 3 Section V Championship basketball teams. I then went to Monroe Community College where I was part of a soccer program that was ranked first in the state. I had the opportunity to play twice in the National Championship were we unfortunately fell short both times. After completing two successful years at MCC I went on to SUNY Brockport and participated in both soccer and softball. Upon getting my Degree from SUNY Brockport I began teaching Health and Physical Education at Marcus Whitman. After two years of teaching I relocated to Dundee. GO SCOTS! I have been in the district for 10 years now (I can't believe it)! Each year I remain current in certification areas such as, CPR and first aid. I value the importance of remaining current with innovative and current trends associated with physical education that help me be a better teacher. I love teaching elementary PE! My goal as a Physical Education teacher is to teach students a wide variety of physical activities that they can do outside of school alone or with friends and family. I also have had the opportunity to coach many different sports, at all levels, throughout my career, including a girl’s soccer team to a Section V Championship. Currently I am coaching Varsity Girl's Bowling and Varsity Softball at DCS.

Enjoy our site; hopefully you will learn a lot about our program. We have so many exciting units going on this year - Check it out!!
